Gabriela Audrey Young, a student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) majoring in Biology, has been selected as the faculty\u2019s representative in the 2026 Universitas Indonesia Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, Gabriela was awarded First Place Outstanding Student of FMIPA UI 2026, a title conferred on March 16, 2026. This achievement advanced her to the university-level selection. The 2026 UI Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) was held from March 25 to 27, 2026, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The selection series began on March 25, 2026, with an opening session, followed by a psychological test and an interview on outstanding achievements. This stage was designed to assess participants\u2019 personality, consistency of accomplishments, and the depth of their experience in their respective fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the second day, March 26, 2026, participants underwent an assessment of their creative idea presentations. In this session, Gabriela presented an innovative idea that highlighted her analytical skills and creativity, while also offering tangible contributions toward addressing various societal issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the final day, March 27, 2026, participants underwent an English proficiency assessment covering speaking and writing skills. This stage served as an important indicator in evaluating the participants\u2019 readiness to represent Universitas Indonesia at the national level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gabriela shared that her participation in this event has been both a valuable experience and a challenge for continuous growth. \u201cI am very grateful and proud to represent FMIPA UI at the university level. This selection process is not only about competition, but also an opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and further develop myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also added that the support from the faculty environment and fellow students has been a great source of motivation throughout each stage of the selection process. \u201cI hope to give my best performance and bring honor to FMIPA UI at a higher level,\u201d Gabriela said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
