The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur\u2019an, Surah Ali \u2018Imran: 133\u2013134 (on forgiveness and piety), followed by a sari tilawah delivered by FMIPA UI students Ibrahim Alfatih and Tsabit Moqtada, which added a solemn and reverent atmosphere to the opening of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., emphasized that Eid al-Fitr is a moment of reflection to strengthen integrity, responsibility, and ethics in academic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Eid al-Fitr moment we have just passed provides us with an opportunity to realign ourselves, clarify our intentions, and reinforce the values that serve as the foundation of our lives. In an academic environment, this is closely related to how we uphold integrity, carry out our scholarly responsibilities, and build a culture of mutual respect,\u201d said Prof. Tito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that as an institution with diverse academic backgrounds, FMIPA UI is not free from dynamics in its organizational governance. According to him, differences in perspectives are a natural part of the institution\u2019s development process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat matters is how we respond to and manage these dynamics maturely, so that they continue to lead toward our shared goals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On that occasion, Prof. Tito also expressed his apologies to all members of the academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOn behalf of the leadership of FMIPA UI, I would like to say minal aidzin wal faidzin, and sincerely apologize for any shortcomings, both seen and unseen. If, in carrying out my mandate as Dean, there have been policies or actions that have not fully met the expectations of all parties, I humbly ask for your understanding,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He added that open communication, mutual understanding, and trust among units are key to maintaining the quality of organizational performance amid increasingly complex challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTherefore, this halalbihalal momentum is expected to help reinforce the foundation of togetherness. Through silaturahmi, we can improve communication, strengthen coordination, and build trust in carrying out various programs moving forward,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event, a tausiyah was delivered by Dr. Budhy Kurniawan R., M.Si., with the theme \u201cThe Wisdom of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H: Forgiving Without Being Asked Is More Noble than Forgiving Upon Request.\u201d He emphasized the importance of sincere forgiveness as part of self-improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cForgiving without being asked truly reflects one\u2019s generosity of heart and spiritual maturity. That is where its nobility lies, as we do not depend on others\u2019 actions in order to do good,\u201d said Dr. Budhy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He also highlighted the importance of silaturahmi in strengthening relationships among individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSilaturahmi not only sustains relationships, but also brings greater blessings. By forgiving one another, we not only resolve interpersonal issues, but also strengthen the foundation of togetherness within an institution,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Furthermore, he reminded that the values of Eid al-Fitr should be continuously implemented in daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPiety is not only measured by ritual worship, but also by how we guard our hearts, treat others with kindness, and are able to forgive sincerely. That is the true essence of victory,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the tausiyah, FMIPA UI also presented awards to retired lecturers and administrative staff as a form of appreciation for their dedication and service in supporting the implementation of the tridharma of higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recipients of the 2025\u20132026 retirement appreciation awards include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Drs. Iman Santoso, M.Phil. \u2013 Lecturer Department of Biology (39 years 10 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Dra. Widyawati, MSP. \u2013 Lecturer Department of Geography (38 years 4 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Sumargo \u2013 Administrative Staff Faculty Administration Center (33 years 5 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Juriah \u2013 Administrative Staff Department of Mathematics (33 years 11 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Mulyani Pratiwi \u2013 Administrative Staff Faculty Administration Center (30 years 5 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Neng Cucu Mulyati \u2013 Administrative Staff Department of Chemistry (26 years 10 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. Supriyanto \u2013 Administrative Staff Department of Geography (26 years 9 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. Ansori \u2013 Administrative Staff Department of Mathematics (25 years 7 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n The awards were presented personally by the Dean of FMIPA UI as a mark of respect for the contributions of the retirees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series of events concluded with a session of handshakes and mutual forgiveness among all attendees, followed by a friendly gathering in a warm and familial atmosphere.
