Endowment Fund Program FMIPA UI
The Endowment Fund of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), is a permanent fundraising program supported by alumni and partners to ensure the sustainability of science education at UI. The FMIPA UI Endowment Fund Program is a strategic initiative aimed at providing scholarships for students in need and supporting the implementation of the three pillars of higher education—education, research, and community service—as well as strengthening the capacity development of the FMIPA UI academic community. The FMIPA UI Endowment Fund policy refers to the Universitas Indonesia Education Endowment Fund policy under Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 111/2021. However, it is initiated and managed by FMIPA UI, with the support of alumni and partners.

Scholarship
Providing financial support for high-achieving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Final Project Assistance Program
Financial assistance provided to final-year students to support the costs of carrying out and completing their Thesis/Final Project.
Campus and Human Resource Development
Ensuring continuous innovation and the development of human resources.
Sustainability
Ensuring the long-term stability and progress of FMIPA UI.
Target Groups and Beneficiaries
This fund is designed to support the entire academic ecosystem at FMIPA UI:
Students
- Need-Based Scholarships: Ensuring that students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds can complete their studies without financial barriers.
- Merit-Based Scholarships: Encouraging healthy competition and recognizing high-achieving students at the national and international levels
Facilities and Innovation
- Laboratory Modernization: Procurement of advanced laboratory equipment.
- Innovation Center / Makerspace: Development of facilities that enable students to experiment and collaborate.
Strengthening the University’s International Reputation
- Strengthening the university’s international reputation is achieved through enhanced global collaboration, improved research quality and international publications, as well as the active participation of the academic community in international forums and networks.
