FMIPA UI Strengthens Preparations for the ZI Award through Assistance in LKE Completion

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), held a mentoring session on the completion of the Integrity Zone (ZI) Evaluation Worksheet (Lembar Kerja Evaluasi/LKE) as part of its efforts to strengthen preparations for the Universitas Indonesia and national-level ZI Awards. The activity aimed to establish a shared understanding among all driver teams regarding the assessment criteria, enhance the quality of supporting evidence, and ensure that the LKE was completed comprehensively in accordance with the Integrity Zone evaluation indicators.

The activity, held on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at the Auditorium of the Pertamina Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building, FMIPA UI, Depok, was attended by all members of the FMIPA UI Integrity Zone Team representing the six driver areas: Driver Area 1 – Change Management; Driver Area 2 – Business Process Improvement; Driver Area 3 – Human Resource Management System Improvement; Driver Area 4 – Performance Accountability Strengthening; Driver Area 5 – Oversight Strengthening; and Driver Area 6 – Public Service Quality Improvement.

The mentoring session featured Syachrudin, a member of the Integrity Zone Team at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek), as the keynote speaker. Also in attendance were Filia, Head of the Subdirectorate of Cultural Transformation and Governance at the Directorate of Risk Management and Transformation (DMRT) of Universitas Indonesia; Nona Anggia, Head of the Section for Transformation Implementation and Cultural Services at DMRT UI; and Dhesinta Permatasari from the DMRT UI Integrity Zone Team.

In her remarks, the Vice Dean for Resources, Venture, and General Administration of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Ivandini Tribidasari Anggraningrum , stated that the development of the Integrity Zone should be understood as an effort to build a work culture grounded in integrity and service orientation, rather than merely fulfilling assessment documentation requirements.

“An Integrity Zone is a shared commitment to fostering governance that is transparent, accountable, and oriented toward service excellence. Through this mentoring session, I hope that all driver teams will gain a comprehensive understanding of the substance of the Evaluation Worksheet (LKE), enabling them to prepare it in a more systematic manner, in line with the established assessment standards, while effectively documenting FMIPA UI’s best practices as key strengths in the evaluation process,” said Prof. Ivandini.

In his presentation, Syachrudin explained that the Evaluation Worksheet (Lembar Kerja Evaluasi/LKE) is not merely a collection of administrative documents, but an instrument for demonstrating the tangible implementation of bureaucratic reform within a work unit.

“The Evaluation Worksheet is not merely a document to be completed for assessment purposes. Rather, it serves as a tool to demonstrate that bureaucratic reform has been genuinely implemented through improved governance, enhanced public services, and the cultivation of a work culture grounded in integrity across every work unit,” said Syachrudin.

According to him, every piece of supporting evidence submitted should clearly demonstrate the relationship between the programs implemented and the outcomes achieved. Therefore, each driver team needs to ensure that all supporting documents are of high quality, easily verifiable, and capable of demonstrating sustained improvements over time.

“The key to preparing the Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) lies in the quality of the supporting evidence. Every document should address the relevant assessment indicators, demonstrate the impact of the programs implemented, and be supported by collaboration among the driver teams to ensure that the overall narrative is coherent, consistent, and accurately reflects the actual conditions,” said Syachrudin.

He also underscored the importance of collaboration among the driver teams in preparing the Evaluation Worksheet (LKE). Many of the assessment indicators are interrelated, making it essential to ensure consistency in both the supporting data and the narrative to avoid duplication and inconsistencies in the documentation of evidence.

In addition, Syachrudin emphasized that achieving Integrity Zone status is determined not only by the completeness of the required documentation, but also by the effective implementation of a work culture whose benefits are genuinely experienced by stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Filia stated that this year, Universitas Indonesia has raised its target for the number of work units expected to advance to the national-level Integrity Zone assessment.

“Based on the Rector’s directive, this year’s target has been increased compared to the previous year. While last year Universitas Indonesia aimed to have five faculties advance to the national-level Integrity Zone assessment, this year the target has been raised to six faculties. This serves as a strong motivation for all faculties to further strengthen the implementation of bureaucratic reform and enhance the quality of the supporting evidence they submit,” said Filia.

At present, all FMIPA UI Integrity Zone teams representing each driver area are preparing and completing the Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) in accordance with the established timeline. The completion of the LKE is targeted before the submission deadline of 6 July 2026.

Beyond enhancing FMIPA UI’s readiness for the Universitas Indonesia and national-level evaluations, the activity is also expected to further strengthen a culture of integrity, promote accountable governance, and support the continuous improvement of public service quality across the faculty.
