FMIPA UI Completes Final Selection of Outstanding Main Student 2026

Depok, March 16, 2026 — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), through its student affairs unit, has completed the entire final selection process for the 2026 Outstanding Student (Mapres Utama). The final stage, consisting of the evaluation of Outstanding Achievements/Curriculum Vitae (CU/CV) and Creative Ideas (GK), was held this week at the Prof. Dr. G.A. Siwabessy Hall, FMIPA UI Campus, Depok.

Previously, the participants had undergone an English proficiency test last week. With the completion of the CU/CV and GK evaluations, the faculty-level selection process for the 2026 Outstanding Student (Mapres Utama) has officially concluded.

A total of 13 students participated in the selection. They presented their academic and non-academic achievements, while also delivering creative ideas that offer innovative solutions to various societal issues.

The participants in the 2026 FMIPA UI Outstanding Student (Mapres Utama) selection included Nasywaa Ramadhanti Fauzi, Dastin Rangga Berani, Aqila Muhammad Taqy, Atala Fikri Zaki, Cassarah Bertha Matakena, Gabriela Audrey Young, Bimo Hadi Permana, Karen Clementine Sunaryo, Zahra Fitria Amri, Reza Nur Ikhsan, Putri Mutiara Naysilla, Muhamad Danar Pridana, and Natasha Arsanty Widyahapsari.

The evaluation was carried out by a panel of judges consisting of FMIPA UI lecturers from various disciplines, including Dr. Yulia Mariana Tesa Ayudia Putri, Iqbal Putut Ash Shidiq, Astari Dwivranti, Januar Widakdo, Dr. Ar Rohim, Ryan Kasyfil Aziz, Tety Maryenti, Dr. Hengki Tasman, Bayu Ardiansah, Prof. Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas, Dra. Sitaresmi, Asri Oktavioni Indraswari, and Samira Husen Alamudi.

The Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., stated that the Mapres selection process is not merely a competition, but also a platform for nurturing outstanding students.

“The Outstanding Student selection does not only assess academic achievements, but also measures students’ leadership capacity, creativity, and social awareness,” he stated.

He added, “We hope that the participants will be able to become the best representatives of FMIPA UI, excelling not only intellectually but also making a tangible impact on society.”

Through this selection, FMIPA UI will determine one Outstanding Student (Mapres Utama) who will represent the faculty at the university-level Outstanding Student Selection, scheduled to take place on March 25–27, 2026.

In addition to the main category, FMIPA UI will also hold the Outstanding Student (Mapres) selection for the categories of sports, entrepreneurship, social and environmental initiatives, as well as arts and culture on April 1, 2026.

FMIPA UI hopes that this series of activities will encourage more students to continue developing their potential, achieve excellence, and make positive contributions to the wider community.
